My favourite season is the Summer. A day can become instantly enjoyable if the sun is out and today is no exception. A casual day out in the Summer with good company, good food and good weather is perfect.
Alongside a perfect day should be a perfect outfit. Summer can be tricky as some items of clothing you would want to wear will become irritable depending on the type of material, this is why in summer I choose to wear a lot of denim pieces.
As you can see, I am wearing black denim skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt, a mid-blue denim shirt and white All-Stars. I like wearing an outfit like this as it is comfortable to wear all day and in addition is nice and bright making it suitable for summer.
You should always avoid wear darker colours in the summer as they can absorb heat pretty quickly, making you unnecessarily hot and uncomfortable. Lighter colours reflect light and keep you cool throughout.
Another nice addition that you will see in upcoming posts are denim shorts. I currently have them in a mid-blue, ripped light blue and grey. These are great for wearing with different outfits and look fashionable at the same time. I recommend opting for the skinny variety as the standard shorts can be very large on the leg, especially if you are used to wearing skinny jeans.
