Style Staple: Rayban Wayfarers

Sunglasses, the biggest summer accessory you can get, but the trick is to own a pair(s) that suit you’re style and more importantly your face shape. For me personally, Rayban Wayfarers are the type of sunglasses that tick both boxes.

I currently wear the hugely popular Wayfarers with a patterned frame known as ‘Tortoise’. These are currently my favourite pair and you can see them in action in my outfit posts. I went for this frame colour as opposed to the official all-black frame because I wanted something different but still had that timeless and classic look to it.

Wayfarers come in a variety of frame and lenses, each different with the frames having the normal nylon material or if you are feeling adventurous then you can go for a leather frame which certainly is different. Lenses can come in a variety of different colours from the standard black or green types available stretching to the striking ‘Blue Flash’ lens that has an almost mirror effect to it.

For someone else the Wayfarers may not be what they like in terms of styling or it may just not look right on them. There are many other popular and quality sunglasses brands including Chanel, Christian Dior and Tom Ford, just to name a few.

Choose what you like and what will also be versatile so that you can wear them with many different outfits and you will be sure to always look in the sun. Remember to stay trendy and true to yourself.

Making An Impression With A Fragrance: How Important Is It & New Purchase

Fragrance. Perfume. Scent. Call it what you may, but the question is, how important is it to smell good? As you can tell, I am an avid fragrance fanatic and I just can’t seem to stop finding exciting new fragrances.

Personally, I think a quality scent can leave a lasting impression wherever you go to whoever you meet. This is maybe the reason why I will always be tempted to purchase a bottle of perfume that will leave a different impression.

When you get ready in the morning, with an outfit that you’ve chosen you will probably accessorise with a few simple accessories such as a watch and a ring for example. A perfume could be classed as an accessory that you can’t see, but will complete your outfit and really make you feel like a million dollars.

However, choosing the right type of scent for you is a case of trial and error. Speaking from a guy’s perspective, men will usually pick something quite strong and sometimes spicy. On the other hand, a women may opt for something that is sweeter or have a flowery base to it.

Personally, I like to mix I up daily, some days I may want something that has oud as a basenote, for example Tom Ford’s Oud Wood or Christian Dior’s Oud Ispahan. On other days I may want something that smells maybe less musky and more fresh, for example Christian Dior’s Sauvage.

It all depends on personal preference, and I would encourage a person to try something new. Switch it up and go for something against your usual, you never know you may like it!

My newest fragrance that I got was Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. Originally made for females I think the spicy notes make it one that is definitely unisex and can be worn by all. Another reason I opted for this was because I wanted something different instead of my oud-based scents. It really is an amazing product and will definitely leave a lasting impression.
Remember to go for something different next time you’re shopping for a fragrance and 9 times out of 10 you will love it. Check out my social media for some cool snaps and remember to stay trendy and true to yourself.

New Items: River Island Shop

Going out to buy new clothes is probably one of the things I am guilty of doing in excess. I am the type of person that will buy on impulse, especially when I’m just walking past shops.

I only bought three items this past week as I’m looking to ever so slightly change my style up. River Island is probably one of the high street shops I buy from the most as I think they really do sell trendy and cool pieces in both the men’s and women’s ranges.

The first item I bought is something I regularly wear, black skinny jeans. River Island for me do the perfect black skinnys as they stretch and are pretty durable. I have tried and tested many black jeans by many different brands but these to me are the perfect black skinnys.

The next item I picked up is a cool thin-knit burnt orange jumper. I initially liked this for the shade of orange and the fitting is nice too. It came in a range of colours including both black and an off-white but I opted for this as I needed a dull yet different colour in my wardrobe.

The last item is one that I featured previously in a fragrance review, the Armani Code Profumo. This is a very nice scent that has a hint of coffee. It is EDP so lasts longer than the normal EDT so this is a fragrance that I will use when I am wanting to switch it up a little. I recommend this for anyone looking to purchase a good quality scent that will most definitely be memorable and different enough to distinguish it from other fragrances that you may have.

I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post, more content will be coming soon including an updated fresh, new look to my blog. Stay trendy and true to yourself!
